Co-op students in the three-year Law Clerk Advanced Diploma program are seeking a work term for May 2021 to August 2021. Co-op requires students to complete full-time, paid work for 12-14 weeks that is directly related to their college program. Typical dates of employment are Monday, May 3 through to at least Friday, August 13.

Students will have completed one year of the program by the time the co-op work term begins, and return to their second-year courses in September 2021.

Students will deliver on their 3-5 Performance and Practice Goals that were agreed upon within the first month of the work term.

Requirements

Students will have completed courses in Contracts, Criminal Law, Canadian Law, Real Estate Fundamentals, Torts, and Legal Research, among others. They are well-positioned to contribute broad supports in a legal environment (law firm or legal department).
