Project Examples
Requirements
This course will be completed in four different phases.
Phase 1 - Property Analysis: To begin the partnership process students will conduct an analysis of your property. This analysis will include, but not limited to, information such as target market, audience characteristics (e.g. size, engagement, viewership, followers, loyalty, etc.), available assets/inventory, and current environment (SWOT, environmental analysis, trends, etc.).
Phase 2 – Target Company Analysis: In this portion of the assignment students research a potential partner gathering data and information required to appeal to potential corporate partners. Each team will provide a partnership analysis to identify beneficial partnership opportunities for your organization.
Phase 3 – Partnership Proposal: Following a review of your property and examination of a potential corporate partner, students will be responsible for developing a comprehensive and professional partnership package to entice the company they have researched in the target company analysis.
Phase 4 – Partnership Meeting: Students will present their proposal to your organization and you will have the opportunity to evaluate if what they are presenting is a good fit for your business and if they will help you reach your business objectives. A question and answer period will be provided.
Phase 5 (Optional) - Post-report: Students will complete a hypothetical post-event report on how the partnership/sponsorship went. As the partnership will not be executed in the time frame provided students are tasked with making educated assumptions on what some of the challenges and opportunities of the partnership would be and how to best convey important information to a client. This report can be used as an idea generator or shell for future post-reports, for your property.
