Aspire Inc. seeks to enhance its bookkeeping processes to improve financial transparency and decision-making. This project involves organizing financial documents, recording transactions, and refining bookkeeping workflows. Students will compile expense reports with visual summaries and research bookkeeping tools to boost efficiency. The goal is to provide students with practical experience in financial documentation and process improvement, applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. By engaging in tasks such as financial tracking and reporting, students will assist in reconciling transactions and ensuring data accuracy. They will also explore and recommend cost-effective apps to automate bookkeeping tasks, gaining exposure to industry practices in consulting and small business operations.

Deliverables
  • 1) Students will deliver organized financial records, creating a structured system for easy access and tracking of key information.


  • 2) They will produce a monthly expense report template using Excel or Google Sheets, featuring basic charts to illustrate spending trends.


  • 3) Additionally, students will submit a report on bookkeeping tools, including a tested tool and recommendations for efficiency improvements.


  • 4) Finally, a process improvement summary will outline their contributions and suggestions for simplifying bookkeeping.
