Main Goal

The Scholarship Whizz aims to expand into the Canadian market by partnering with high schools, colleges and post secondary institutions to serve their community of students interested in securing scholarships and funding. We seek to collaborate with interns to conduct market research to identify potential high schools, colleges and post secondary institutions for partnerships and tailor our services to meet their needs. The ultimate objective is to uncover gaps in the current scholarship and funding assistance provided by these institutions and propose solutions that The Scholarship Whizz can offer.


Deliverables

We would like to work with students to perform a comprehensive market research project that will involve several steps, including:


1. Familiarizing Themselves with The Scholarship Whizz:

  •  Understanding our mission, services, and target market.
  •  Gaining insights into our current operations and the value we offer to students.


2. Identifying Potential Schools and Colleges:


  •  Researching schools and colleges in Canada that have a significant number of students interested in scholarships and funding opportunities.
  • Compiling a list of institutions that would benefit from a partnership with The Scholarship Whizz.


3. Analyzing Current Scholarship and Funding Assistance:


  • Investigating the existing scholarship and funding assistance programs offered by these institutions.
  • Identifying gaps and areas where these programs may fall short.


4. Proposing Tailored Solutions:


  •  Developing solutions and services that The Scholarship Whizz can offer to fill the identified gaps.
  •  Outlining how these solutions can be integrated into the institutions' current programs to better serve their students.


5. Partnership Pathway: Creating a pathway for partnership that includes:


  • Strategies for approaching and engaging with potential partner institutions.
  • Benefits and value propositions for the schools and colleges.
  • Steps for establishing and maintaining these partnerships.



Deliverables

At the end of the project, students will present their findings, including:


1. A detailed market research report identifying potential schools and colleges for partnerships.


2. An analysis of the gaps in the current scholarship and funding assistance programs at these institutions.


3. A tailored solution proposal outlining how The Scholarship Whizz can address these gaps.


4. A partnership pathway strategy, including engagement and partnership establishment plans.

Mentorship

Students will have access to our Program Manager for support throughout the project. This includes:

- Answers to any questions they may have

- One-on-one sessions as needed

- Assistance with any challenges encountered
