We are a new startup called MyPanion, as in Companion. MyPanion is a startup that aims to solve two major problems in the home-care sector of the healthcare industry: Matching (of care workers and clients), and Care Worker Treatment (i.e., they are underpaid, underappreciated, used and abused).
We do this in several ways: we are building an app that will allow clients and care workers to be matched at a granular level, and with the level of granularity that the client needs. Additionally, we are incentivizing the Care Workers to work with us, stay with us, do a great job, and up-skill.
We accomplish this by taking less, giving back more, and setting them up to succeed:
1. Our fees start at 15% and max out at 30%, while typical agencies take as much as 60%!
2. Care Workers that work 900 - 1800 hours a year (part to full time), earn back 15% - 25% of their fees (that they paid to us), in the form of either Benefits, Pension, Insurance, or contributions to Education.
3. Better matching on the app means better likelihood that the Care Workers will enjoy their work, do a better job, and improve satisfaction, and safety.
We have upwards of 10 people already contributing to this project, and we need your help!
We have had many schools from University Canada West to Arizona State University and others work on this project; they looked at the market and helped us to identify an appropriate beachhead.
We are working on the app, but in the meantime we want to start operations by March 21, which means we need to run the company 'on paper' (not through an app), including Sales and Marketing. The revenue generated thereafter will help fund growth and app development. The app is not complex and should be easy to complete in a reasonable amount of time, but still requires cash.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help us with SALES LEADS>
HOW?
Sales Leads perhaps?
It is in our best interest, to start with some one-on-one sales (which we can accomplish on our own), but add some more value-added clientele, such as a long term care home, a retirement residence, etc., in which there are many clients and opportunities in one place...in which there is perhaps a director of care or similar executive who manages one or more facilities, and is frustrated with his or her current 'agency'...

NOTE:
1. It is in our best interest to go after contracts that do not require complex medical needs and access to medical history (for now)
2. It is in our best interest to go after contracts that are of higher value (per hour) such as Nursing, Backup Nursing, Therapies, etc.
3. It is in our best interest to go after contracts that allow us to solve a problem that is representative of the industry as a whole
You will have as much or as little mentorship and supervision as you require to succeed
