Research local stormwater regulations for a Denver-based municipal client, develop a compliance strategy to manage urban runoff, and deliver a roadmap with timelines and budgets. This goal specifies the tasks (research regulations, develop a strategy), the deliverable (a compliance roadmap), and aligns with ECS’s expertise in stormwater management and compliance. It builds on the previously defined objective, adding the deliverable to meet Polygence’s requirements for clarity.
5-Day Report Generator + Export Tool
Develop a tool for SmartComplAI to generate and export 5-day compliance reports. Learners will design a UI/UX for PDF generation, implement download/email features, and create a form-based editor using React and jsPDF, applying frontend skills. Platform access and design templates will be provided.
SmartComplAI Frontend UI Enhancement and Branding Update
Enhance SmartComplAI’s frontend interface to improve usability and visual consistency for stormwater compliance users. Learners will use React, Figma, and CSS to refine UI components, update branding, and ensure forms meet user needs. Through iterative design, usability testing, and feedback, learners will create an intuitive interface for engineers and contractors. Additional guidance on compliance standards will be provided to support skill application.
SmartComplAI Backend Feature Development
Develop specific backend features for SmartComplAI’s compliance platform using Node.js and MongoDB. Learners will implement Postmark email notifications, create a 24/5-day report export tool, and test functionality, applying classroom skills in backend development. Detailed API documentation and compliance guidelines will be provided to support learners.
