Project Goal for Social Media Marketing:

The goal of our social media marketing campaign is to increase brand awareness, engage with health-conscious consumers, and drive app downloads by showcasing the benefits of our product scanning app. We aim to build a strong online community through educational content about healthier personal product choices, transparency in consumers product ingredients, and affordability.


Expectations:

  • Develop and share educational content around healthier choices in which personal products they choose as well as ingredient transparency and affordability.
  • Distinguish the appropriate target audience and create humorous unconventional content appropriate for gen z.
  • Deep understanding of gen z subculture and memes.
  • Open communication and willingness to learn and improve
  • Create visually engaging posts, including infographics, videos, and app demos.
  • Post consistently across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Engage with followers through direct responses, comments, and polls.
  • Foster community interaction by encouraging user-generated content and feedback.
  • Promote app features and updates in a way that adds value to followers' health and lifestyle.
  • Build partnerships with influencers or organizations aligned with health-conscious living.
  • Measure success based on engagement, follower growth, and app download activity.
  • Communicate with viewers in comments
  • Learn about what times to post are best
  • Proper utilization of keywords, tags, duration of video works best


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our companyโ€™s products and goals
  • Understanding of factors affecting the quality of digital content
  • Understand algorithms and testing out what work
  • Understanding target audience and niche
  • Understand how a content becomes viral and how to leverage that afterwards
  • How to convert followers to customers
  • Understand how to read insights
  • Create short and long form content that is engaging and shareable
  • How to maximize retention rate
  • How to create trust and a community within the platform
  • Extensive research and learning from other competitors
  • Recommendations for improving existing digital content
  • Recommendations and designs for new digital content
  • Hit at least one video to go viral
  • 2 students will be responsible for content creation and strategy and 1 student will be responsible for community
  • will be creating content for instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok (reusing content for these platforms). Main focus will be TikTok and instagram
  • implementing short form and long form content as well as carousels


Final deliverables should include

  • A short report of achievements, what worked and what didn't, what was learned in the process, was the company's goal achieved, what can be done to improve in the future. As well as why the content made throughout this cohort is quality content and the type of work made behind the scenes
  • 10 minute presentation of the accomplishments, the references made, and content that could be improved
  • established community with regular followers in the comments
  • have one video go viral in any platform
