Project Scope

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for sales students or teams (up to 5 students).

We are looking for B2B sales support to help us increase Test Run's market share within North America, as well as to expand internationally.

Our target prospects are C-Level and B-level executives (Executive Directors, Certification Managers, etc.) of Professional Licensing organizations.

The primary focus for the student(s) will be: .

  • Market Research (international) - perform market segmentation to identify the ideal international target market for Test Run; identify expansion opportunities.
  • Sales prospecting. develop a leads list from recommended sources.
  • Sales forecasting. analyze our sales funnels and internal processes to develop recommendations for more accurate forecasting.
  • Sales operations. review our sales processes and make recommendations in the area of operations to improve efficiency and increase conversion.

Our goal at the end of this experience is:

  • Market Research - gain a better understanding of our target market in North America and Internationally.
  • Sales Prospecting - implement better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boost our sales team's performance.
  • Sales forecasting. streamline our sales funnels and internal processes to for more accurate forecasting.
  • Sales operations. enhance our sales processes to improve efficiency and increase conversion.

Other duties the student may complete could include: (indicate other duties as exemplified below)

  • Assist with outbound sales/marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as Google Sheets or Excel

We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: (Riipen messaging, skype, company slack, email, phone)

Mentorship
  • Define the project scope up front, limiting scope changes once students are approved for the project.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to students throughout the project.
  • Review student applications and accept or decline applications within 14 days.
  • Be available for a discussion with the Program coordinator to initiate our relationship and confirm our scope is an appropriate fit for the internship
