Project feedback
Working with Kamal during this project was an incredibly valuable experience. He didnโ€™t just guide the team โ€” he mentored us. I learned so much from him, from advanced concepts like Docker, Kubernetes, and hash encryption, to understanding how all these tools come together in real-world cybersecurity. Kamalโ€™s support and willingness to share his knowledge played a huge role in helping me realize that this is the career path I want to pursue. His guidance truly made a difference and Iโ€™m grateful to have had the chance to learn from him.

Cybersecurity TDR (Total Defense and Response) platform

What is the main goal for this project? The goal of this project is to design and develop a next-generation AI-based cybersecurity platform called TDR (Total Defense and Response) . This platform will go beyond traditional EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) tools by offering comprehensive, unified security for small to mid-scale businesses across all sectors. The key objectives include: Designing an all-in-one cybersecurity platform powered by AI that addresses detection, prevention, response, and automation for managing cyber threats. Ensuring ease of deployment and simplicity for clients, inspired by minimalist designs (e.g., Tesla cars). Creating a scalable solution that meets the unique needs of small and medium businesses (SMBs) across diverse industries. What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal? Research Phase Analyze existing EDR/XDR tools and identify gaps in functionality and usability for SMBs. Study AI-driven cybersecurity tools and evaluate the latest advancements in threat detection, automation, and response. Design Phase Create a concept architecture for the TDR platform that integrates AI-powered threat detection, incident response, and reporting. Design a user-friendly interface with minimalistic deployment requirements. Development Phase Develop a proof of concept for the platform, including AI models for threat detection and automated response. Build a prototype that demonstrates ease of deployment on client infrastructure. Testing Phase Simulate real-world scenarios to validate the toolโ€™s effectiveness in detecting and responding to threats. Provide detailed documentation of testing results and recommendations for improvement. Final Deliverables: Deliverable 1: Research report on existing cybersecurity tools, identifying gaps and opportunities for the TDR platform. Deliverable 2: Concept architecture and design for the TDR platform, including user interface wireframes. Deliverable 3: Proof of concept/prototype demonstrating core functionalities of the platform, along with a technical documentation report. Deliverable 4: Final project report, including testing results, recommendations, and a roadmap for further development.
