Capacity and Schedule Optimization Project

Competitor, Industry & Pricing Analysis

We would like to have a better understanding of our competitors, their pricing, and the way they are packaging their social media services. We are a 5-year old social media agency that *only* offers social media services - ie no SEO, PPC, web design, etc. We do however offer a wide variety of services that relate to social media including (but not limited to) Social Media Management services (platform management and campaign execution of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. Most of these services are provided through a package and our minimum is $1,500 per month.) Social Media Paid Advertising services (ad campaigns on the above platforms) Social Media Strategy services (we create the social strategy/plan and they execute. These are generally quite custom.) Social Media Consulting / Training services (we provide hands-on consulting/training as needed for our clients. These are generally quite custom.) Social Media Content Creation services (These can be a-la-cart or built into a management service. These include blogs, videos, Instagram Reels, and more.) Please note we do not provide any traditional PR services. This project will include: An identification of our current competitors (both niche, general and freelance) An identification of potential future competitors (eg. a large company in a similar industry who may enter the space) The creation of a matrix identifying features shared across the companies and those that are different. A summary of 2-4 paragraphs describing our competitive advantages and disadvantages relative to the competition identified. This could be done in the form of a SWOT analysis. A scope and pricing summary that details how competitors package / scope their services and the prices they charge for the services. This may also include "a-la-cart" pricing for things like blogs, videos that are 1 minute long and paid advertising pricing structures. This would include all forms of competitors. We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can suggest names of competitors to research. We can suggest hashtags and search terms to find additional competitors. Objective We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitors in our space and how we can differentiate ourselves through our product/service offering, pricing, and our messaging.
