Within this role, I work with the perinatal population, specifically individuals experiencing anxiety during this transitional period, and adults struggling with insomnia. My responsibilities have included coordinating and managing all patient communication via email and phone calls to book patients’ preliminary assessments and treatment groups while maintaining confidentiality. Upon receiving new patient referrals, I complete initial phone screens with all patients to assess their eligibility for treatment groups. I am responsible for remaining organized to ensure the distribution and completion of all patients’ pre-treatment measures prior to their participation in a treatment group, immediately after completing the group, and 3 months post-group. When putting together treatment groups, I am sensitive and impartial during initial phone screens with patients and give my best input as to whether they are a good fit for treatment. I have also had the opportunity to co-lead and observe several CBT and Psychoeducation for Perinatal Anxiety groups and CBT for Insomnia groups.

Within this role, I created social media posts for Facebook and Twitter, regularly posted in feed and on stories, and engaged with community members regularly. I was responsible for monitoring engagement, comments, and feedback from followers/ the community. I also successfully conducted research and stayed informed on the current scope of therapeutic private practices within the GTA.
