Human Resources Strategy Development

Riverbend ROCKS is a community-based non-profit that provides wrap-around support to low-income families in the Riverbend area of Edmonton and beyond. Programming is free and includes: After-school care, Immigration services, Medical support, Physical activity programming, Community gardens and markets, Community events and gatherings. Riverbend Rocks is growing from mostly part-time to three full-time positions (program coordinators) and we are increasing the number of part-time employees. We are currently working on updating our strategic plan and developing a growth strategy that involves understanding the HR needs as we plan to expand and formalize administrative and support roles.
