Hermes Aerospace Corporation UAV Data Analysis Project

The goal of this project is to build a backend application to read information from various sensors, publish it to a ROS2 environment, write scripts to control a UAV using ROS2 MAVpy, create a process for recording data to a cloud database using ROS2, help prepare data for visualization, and help create a frontend application to view data from various GPS locations.

Website Development

We would like a new website for our organization. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. Students should be prepared to: Work with WordPress to create website with us Create a design proposal including mockups for our company's review. Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.

Data Analysis and 3D Visualization Dashboard Application

We want to create a dashboard for our UAV's data collection system which is able to store data from our flight system sensors, and store it in a cloud location, from that dataset create a set of data visualizations and analytics. We would like a student to analyze our dataset, apply standard analytics, and create 3D visualizations. This will involve: Conduct background research on our existing product and the dataset provided. Conduct research into the latest data analysis tools, methods, and applications. Developing a dashboard style program to provide insights on datasets collected, and 3D visualization. Create a workflow for cloud data backups.
