Sales! - Healthcare Industry [home care / care work] We are a new startup called MyPanion, as in Companion. MyPanion is a startup that aims to solve two major problems in the home-care sector of the healthcare industry: Matching (of care workers and clients), and Care Worker Treatment (i.e., they are underpaid, underappreciated, used and abused). Panion - a Big Leaf project that is in development: It consists of an App-based platform (android/iOS) that matches Care Workers with their Clients. Nurses, PSWs, physical therapists, phlebotomists, companions, etc. create are matched with clients based on key factors, which are customizable for each party. Care Workers create online profiles with Key Factors like Education, Experience, Language(s), Specialties, Certifications, Vaccines, Geographical and Temporal Availability, etc. Clients and their families or caregivers fill out a profile with requirements such as times and days, expertise, experience, language, education, vaccinations, etc. The system matches Client to Care Worker, or manual matches can be made by users, and Panion takes only 15% of revenues per transaction; one-half of what many agencies take. What makes Panion different? We are focused on Care. Quality Care is something that is a result of a concerted and collaborative effort. We know that Care Workers are often underpaid, underappreciated, mismatched with clients, and required to travel great distances without remuneration. We also know that Care Workers almost never have access to Benefits, Insurance, and Pensions from the agencies for which they dedicate their life. Panion offers Care Workers benefits, insurance, and pension plans, takes less revenue, and makes better matches. Panion also lets users Rate each interaction for both parties, via our sister company KnowQuest (using KnowQuest's API). How can you help? We need to reach Long Term Care Homes, Retirement Homes and Residences, and other similar facilities in which we can utilize Panion's platform to find them more motivated, better paid, insured, educated, experienced, and vaccinated Care Workers. We are even lookiong at adding body cameras to Care Workers to ensure the safety and security of everyone involved. We go above and beyond the norm in the industry, and we need your help to make key stakeholder such as Directors of Retirement Homes or Long Term Care Homes.

Clients and their families/care-givers fill out a profile for them as well. Panion offers Care Workers benefits, insurance, and pension plans, takes less revenue, and better matches. Additionally, interactions between Care Workers and Clients can then be rated on Panion, via KnowQuest.net and its platform (using an API). KnowQuest.net is currently an academic feedback platform, but we are expanding to include non-academic feedback such as Interactions on Panion. What makes KnowQuest unique in the 'ratings' world, is its platform: 'C.A.S.H.' is built on the needs and wants of modern online raters: C – Credible Only credible users can give feedback Credibility is established via school email A – Anonymous No user information, names, IDs, or other way to see who has rated All ratings are aggregated S – Secure School email is the only piece of personal information we require School emails are NEVER sold H – Homogeneous Feedback is tied to context So, the project will seek to understand how to balance the health information Necessary to gain a meaningful understanding of our Quality, Satisfaction of Customers, Safety, Happiness of Care Workers, etc., within the C.A.S.H. platform, as well as challenges such as GDPR, PIPEDA, etc. In addition: Students may wish to hone and perfect their skills in Full Stack Development, Back End Development, or Front End Development by improving our sister company's websites: KnowQuest.net or KnowQuest.com

Marketing Strategy Development

Students will have the option of two projects: 1. The Big Leaf - A management consulting firm that needs to increase its sales, key sales/marketing metrics, and maximize its value. This will require advanced analysis, plenty of research into consulting, and a focus on value maximization matched with internal capabilities and adherence to our code of ethics and conduct. www.thebigleaf.com 2.
